To ensure proper communication between devices and the Brother printer:
Both the check-in device and printer must be connected to the same network.
Brother QL-820NWB supports only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (5 GHz is not compatible).
Wired LAN is preferred for optimal stability.
Portable routers or Wi-Fi dongles are recommended for venues with limited network access.
Use these steps to connect the Brother printer to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network or a LAN setup.
On the printer, press Menu.
Navigate to WLAN (option 5/7) and press OK.
Select Infra Manual Setting (or Direct Manual Setting, if applicable) and press OK.
Choose the correct Wi-Fi network from the list.
Enter the network password (if required) and press OK.
Once connected, the printer will confirm network status on its screen. You can now proceed to connect it within the EventX app.
